How bad is it?

It's unfortunate that Travis Strikes Again just wasn't a good game, because the meta in that game was nuts. Badman's story, especially. Lots of commentary about being a developer and creator beholden to corporate interests, as well as corporate figureheads. This was a really good video summing it up (pre-Badman DLC):
