Angelfish 93 Posted March 17, 2018 Share Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) I'm surprised how little I am in being hyped for Infinity War seeing as its probably the biggest thing of the year. I can't put my finger on why though. I think I must prefer the smaller-scale, less CGI heavy stuff which would probably explain why I'm pumped more for Punisher Season 2. Just saw The Last Jedi: Spoiler Not sure if its me but for a film called The Last Jedi, there didn't seem to be much in the way of lightsabre duels in it compared to the time dedicated to the dog fights. Plus all that anticipation relating to Snoke after The Force Awakens seemed to be undeserved getting killed off cheaply for no apparent reason to me. We should've got a heavyweight battle of Luke and Snoke IMO. At least Luke could've gone in more style that way too. That Casino scene could've gone too. Gonna check out season 2 soon. Its hard to keep up with these types of shows now though with new ones like Black Lightning recently out (plus The Gifted and Runaways). Theres some good stuff towards the end, but overall i found it to be kind of pretentious and it definitely gives off the 'oscar bait' type of vibe.
