Vita is still getting games in 2018 and many physical releases. Wii U hasnt gotten shit.

I agree with this.  I just don't see why it matters; if you're a developer looking to expand the platforms that your game is on, the "why" of software sales is irrelevant.  You just need to know that software is selling well on the platforms you're targeting.
