Twinblade★ 3,907
After around 33-35 hours im getting pretty tired of Rise of The Ronin, and I think I still have a ways to go. Im not sure if I should fully blame the game and its repetitive content for that or If I just already have open world fatigue from the other big games I played this year, like Infinite Wealth and FF7 Rebirth. madmaltese★ 2,555
Dave the Diver is an absolute banger. Loving it. Hard to explain but I'd say if you enjoyed something like Golf Story (imo Dave the Diver is already better) then you will like this. Different mechanics but very similar style of game where you have this core mechanic and loop with this story happening and more and more gameplay elements being added constantly. Can not recommend enough and that's based on like 3-4h.

So many new gameplay elements get added like practically every game day that the game a few hours in isn't even close to what it is early on. But it is still in essence the dive and shop loop, so that part does has to be fun for you to like it.

I like management games where the content is handcrafted, like Spiritfarer and Dragon Quest Builders
Twinblade★ 3,907
40 hours into Rise of The Ronin and with no end in sight I think I might drop it when Stellar Blade releases. The game is many ways AC: Japan which would be an incredible compliment a decade ago. But nowadays it just feels dated and bloated and the setting isn't enough to carry it all the way through. Nah there's just too many long fucking games nowdays. Its the same reason why I didn't finish BG3 last year. I don't have the patience or attention span anymore to be able to dedicate so much time to a single game especially when there's others releasing on the horizon. This is insincere coming from a person who plays damn near every game that's released.. You have the time Twinblade. If these games were as good as you said they were, you'd have finished them up promptly. You're literally wasting your time playing games the way you are. New games aren't going anywhere... they'll be there when you finish the last one you started.

If that was the case and I committed to finishing them, I would be playing a fraction of the games i'd want to play.
