Ok so this movie is basically guardians of the galaxy, lord of the rings and cops lol. It's pretty fun.

I have poor expectations for it (watching now), but knowing will wanted a black owned studio and he's not some big macrocon and is doing it all himself with his net worth, I'm all for support.  So far the movie is about as good as one meh episode of stranger things season2, or better/on par with any episode of the punisher. I'm about half way through.  The racism is bubbling over my cup!

So here’s my quick review of hereditary:   1. It’s nowhere near being the scariest movie ever. It’s more of an unsettling thriller.    2. It’s surprisingly unpredictable. The trail

So I saw Last Jedi last week, and I've got to say that was the worst Star Wars movie I've seen in a LOOONG time.  I didn't appreciate ANY of what they were trying to do.  Completely fell flat on it's face. :shake:

Gotta disagree.  I loved all the jedi shit.  Everything else was pointless, though.

You have the right to your opinion, but man, I don't understand how anyone can't be disappointed with how they handled Luke Skywalker in this movie.  They had the perfect chance to make something great here.. but they botched it, hard.  Kylo sucked as well.  There was no good lightsaber action.  The fight choreography was terrible.

Ugh.

I loved the idea that a jedi master is still learning.  It makes sense with Luke because he had the least amount of training of all the jedi.  I also loved Rey's parentage.  Everything made the force feel like something far more cosmic in scale.  It just is, and jedi are a natural phenomenon.

It brings the syar wars world out of one family's bullshit and into the larger universe.

I love scale and cosmic awe horizons so if it does that, sweet. Might see it tomorrow. <3

I watched5Bright on Netflix to support Will Smith.  Not really spectacular in any sense. Had about two cool parts.  One of it wills big d that starts the plot for the movie. It was well done. The other seeing a magical inferni sprawled on a wall. Nothing else in the movie came close to above b quality ho hum.  It was also too transparent certain or a few actors can hold a vibe, while others were shallower than a comic strip.

But, wills movie studio put out a movie on flix so we must all support!

I finally saw the movie Mother. I think it’s a better work of art, and conversation piece, than it is a film. The symbolism and metaphors are fantastic, and it was beautiful, yet chaotic. I only recommend this to viewers who like unconventional movies. The second half of the story may be a bit extreme and convoluted for a casual viewer. It’s also extremely disturbing, if taken at face value.

I just saw it and agree wholeheartedly.  Interesting film and interested in seeing more horror films like it if there are any.
