I hope the Super Mario RPG remake leaves more of a memorable impression.

Mad Clown Puppet was annoying af. That arena combined with his movesets made it a total pain.

Otherwise the game just keeps getting better for me - GD you were right about the factory, it ain't bad but the areas that come after are much cooler. I'm rocking the Holy Sword of the Arc now but on the lookout for the Puppet Ripper at which point I'll try a technique build out.

You are very close to the weapon! also, you'll soon get the best handle (imo)  - the dancer's curved sword. it's fast and you can make it scale with either technique/motivity or a hybrid of technique and motivity (can upgrade handles where you upgrade weapons). so, you can scale it to motivity if most of your points are there. however, i feel it scales best, point for point, with the technique upgrade (instead of the motivity upgrade). if you slap a great sword on it, or the wrench head, you have a deadly mix.

i've seen some pretty wild playthroughs with no weapon (too intense for me lol)

but this capacity build seems legit, especially in ng+ since leveling up is easy af.

the dodge incentives add a lot to the gameplay. going to respec and try this out.

** both videos obviously contain spoilers (mainly the first one)

damn that capacity stuff looks super cool.

also, the puppet ripper is as advertised. feels a lot better than the big old sword.

Mad Clown Puppet was the first boss/mini boss I got stuck at. Had to leave him and come back later when I had a better weapon.

Alan wake is really something unique. I'm about 9 hours in and I love it. It's so refreshing to have something original.

Best part all this time in so far and I don't think I've killed more than like 20 enemies. It's not an action game so far that's for sure and I love that about it.

Such a weird game. And the little details are great. Like I was just in a room talking to someone and I heard the ceiling fan humming . I looked up to see if it was mine. It wasn't. Looked up in the game and that shit was wobbling just like mine does  :D

Also i like that your kind of on your own. You aren't just finding a glowing marker on the map. That usually annoys me but since the map isn't that big , exploring around is fun.

And it's fucking beautiful.

Im at the "music" mission. This game is such an acid trip  :D

The live action scenes are really well done.

Lies of P update coming soon, where Rising Dash is no longer a p-organ unlockable and 2 more quartz will be available each run via Polendina's shop (available first stage). Not huge changes, but I love it that the devs are listening to the fans. Now, we just need a few more parry frames and we'll be golden.

The Devil part in the hotel in AW2  :dreamy: This game slaps  :happysad: Did you guys finish it yet? Im about 14 hours in, how long is it?

It seems to be 20+ hours if you explore a lot. I'm 17 hours in and it doesn't feel like I'm anywhere close to the end.

Yeah i don't feel like im close either.

I've been changing it up, but I actually prefer Saga's sections so I've put more time into those

Maybe I'll  try that too.  I won't be able to set aside time for a long play session until Sunday tho.
