With Ditch 2 coming where would you put Switch among Nintendo systems

Remember when sheep were praising the mobile trash on DS and bashing PSP for having console games? Truth is they always wanted real console games on the go, and the whole handheld like games was pure bullshit.

The biggest team missing from Nintendo this gen is the Etrian odyssey team. They were kings of DRPGs, and Persona Q was great. Makes no sense

They've been Nintendo exclusive for 2 gens

Ha. I thought I was the only Persona Q fan here. That game had brilliant dungeon design.

There is another Vita exclusive DRPG developer experience that makes fantastic DRPGs. They've stuck to making adventure games for some reason with the spirit hunter franchise, when they've been making DRPGs for gens. Persona Q is basically a reskinned Etrian Odyssey anyways

Yeah, I was told I would like some of the later EO games.

Everything up to Gamecube stands above it since that was the last time Nintendo competed on an even playing field.

Switch is better than both Wiis and both DSes.

This is pretty much where I stand too. However I never owned a Wii u, and I might put Wii above switch. I've never had a bad Nintendo product in my life but the joy con drift on switch kept me from even wanting to play it for pretty much it's entire life cycle. I had Nintendo fix it twice and both times it came right back. Not a good look for Nintendo seeing as they are usually known to make durable, reliable hardware.

I debated putting the NES in first place...but ultimately I think the SNES just edges it out.

The fuck are you talking about.. nostalgia has nothing to do with it.  This isn't a "which system has aged best" thread... it's a ranking of Nintendo systems, and as someone who's owned them all, that's simply the order I put them.  SNES was a better machine in its time than N64, and so was the NES.  The N64, despite the things it had going against it, like no CD drive, still came out with absolute BANGERS which shaped the industry to this day.  That system successfully brought Nintendo's franchises into the 3rd dimension and made a template for games to follow.

The N64 was an awesome system.. I don't give a fuck how much it sold.. it's just that the SNES and NES were even better for their time.  And for me personally.. the age of a game doesn't affect my ability to enjoy it, graphically or otherwise.  I play NES games to this day, my favorite console of all time is the PS1, which many people claim they can't play anymore because the games are so outdated visually, or control wise... but not me.  Those games are just as playable today as they were when they released.. and I personally love the visual style of PS1/N64/Sat games.
