This sold me on the PS5 version. Looks freakin great.

3070 apparently gets 50 percent better perf than ps5 perf mode at same settings

Eh, some of the shimmering is probably scarier than anything in the game.

Post some benchmarks

But why would you want to play at performance settings on PC? I want to see how the PS5 quality mode compares with those same settings on PC. I bet you need at least a 3080 to get the same settings and that's without RT on.

Holy shit....just saw a benchmark where my 3070Ti gets a whopping 3.8 FPS when ray tracing is enabled at 1440p.

A 3080 which isn't that much more powerful can get up to 36 FPS.

The 2gb of extra VRAM in the 3080 seems to be the big differentiator.

As time goes on people with 8gb cards like myself just get more and more fucked over.

PC gaming is a joke.

Quote from: Twinblade on October 26, 2023, 03:25:16 PMI mistaked it with the 4K benchmark it's actually 8 fps at 1440p. still unplayable though

Definitely unplayable, but do you really think PC gaming is a joke because your 3070 Ti can't play this with max settings at 1440p with ray tracing on? It can do 1080p with max settings and ray tracing on or 1440p with max settings and ray tracing off pretty easily based on the benchmarks in your link.

Your anti-PC crusade was pretty dumb when games struggled in benchmarks without ray tracing in the mix because you just ignored the impact changing a couple settings could have, but now that benchmarks show that this game runs great on 8GB cards it's all about ray tracing? Come on, dude. I'm sure they'll be some other game that has a disaster of a PC version in a couple weeks you can bag on, but this ain't it.

The point is that people who spent egregious amount of money on 8gb cards got fucked. So yes Im angry.

Why are you hermshits even excited about the PC version of this game? Its exclusive to EGS so surely you clowns are gonna boycott it right?
