Realistically, I can't see it being more powerful than Steamdeck. I mean, It'll probably do certain things better, but I think they'll be in a similar ballpark, at least undocked.

The Tegra chip that the switch 2 will allegedly use already has tensor cores to achieve DLSS. (48 tensor cores +12 RT cores)

The DLA is additional hardware present in Nvidia's automotive Tegra chip. It's used for self driving cars and parking assist. There has been zero applications to any gaming hardware using that additional hardware block.

Rich from DF had speculated on "what if" Nvidia included that block for the switch, what would they even use it for.. Maybe DLSS.

Yea same here, I expect slightly more powerful than a steam deck (even undocked) due to huge efficiency gains.

I bet it will sit somewhere between the deck and ally when it comes to power.


Yea, this will be a non issue for the purposes of the Switch 2.
