He’s nervous. On the surface LowTCP looked calm and ready To drop bombs. But he but he keeps on forgetting How to format what he copies down, the whole SW goes so loud He copies his favourite lyrics down, but the words wont paste down He's choking, how? Everybody's joking now The clock's run out, time's up, over—blaow!5 points

The game is so close to release and I have so many other games to play atm that I'll prob give the demo a miss and just wait a little longer to play the actual game. Good to hear such positive impressions though, although was there ever really any doubt.2 points

8 mile could never be made in 2018 because everyone would want the main character to be black, other wise it's a cultural appropriation.2 points

why would anyone on pc want to play halo 5 lmao. there's like 800 superior shooters on that platform.2 points

Might download it. Not gonna lie, FH2 was free last month and way more fun than I expected. It’s a lot more than just boring racing. Reminded me of Midtown madness 3 back in the day.2 points

Jonb1 won't be playing this. There is no easy mode...2 points

I heard the podcast and I agree with pretty much everything. I'm pretty leftist myself but there is a point where this culture about victimhood and offensiveness is crossing the line to absurdity. If you hear the podcast they mention that this extreme is only happening in some universities, which is good, we don't want this sort of hysterics to spread too much because it will undermine real social justice. For me what these two guys describe is basically the equivalent of a witch hunt. You basically have a bunch of young inexperienced people who think they know everything (which is very common2 points

Honestly when I first came back a few months ago, I was shail'ing/facepalming quite often with his antics. I kept asking, where has Bodycount gone, and/or who hijacked his account? This one has been like the 'ole days, I've legitimately laughed out loud these past few days.1 point

One of my pet peeves with the game is that you can't save anywhere, you have to do so at shines or churches scattered throughout the world. Thats how it was in the old DQ games, so I understand why they kept it but it might limit its value as a pick up and play mobile game. There is an autosave feature, but i don't rely on it as the game isn't that clear on when the saves trigger (seems to always happen after loading screens that seperate areas, but im not 100% sure).1 point

I definitely think you should give it a try. The game feels like a true adventure. Im 25 hours in and im still impressed at the rate at which it throws new areas at you that are also fun to explore and look at. It does feel like a traditional JRPG design wise but its probably one of the better executed ones in recent memory. The dungeons are also brief and quickly move you toward the next point in the story, and grinding is non existent. It feels like they've taken the best aspects from the genre and trimmed out the fat. This trickles down to the side quests as well, as theres only 26 of them1 point

Likewise. Even from a story perspective I'm pleasantly surprised so far (still in Act 2 however)1 point

Yeah, I'm digging it so far. It's a far better version of PubG. I like the smaller map, the game is quicker and there isn't as much chance of having a boring midgamee. Game time and pace is closer to Fortnite. The gadgets are cool for the most part, vehicles serve their purpose, and the class skills or w/e are nice. My only complaints are that the sound of your own footsteps is way too high, and it's a little annoying to pick stuff up...I assume that can be tuned though. Also I have no idea what guns are good cause I haven't played CoD in years.1 point

I got a couple as well (PAL PS4) if anyone wants. As for impressions. It is pretty much a polished, tight and enhanced version of PUBG. You can tell that was their sole inspiration and that this was fairly deep in development before the Fortnite boom because there is zero inspiration from that. You forget you are actually playing a COD game. This isn't some tacked on mode, they went all out. If you like PUBG; this is better, simple is that. Better in nearly every way.1 point

For sure, probably have a chance to play some tonight. It's been getting very positive feedback from streamers who mostly play BRs though fwiw. Not a CoD fan myself.1 point

It never really struck me how sweet it is until I actually tried it. If Xbone actually had some decent exclusives, it would 100% be my console of choice over PS4. Even with its lack of games, this service is still great. Being able to just pick whatever you want to play is a total game changer. Can't wait to play FH4 next month for "free". If Xbone's successor builds on gamepass it may be a day 1 buy for me. Also, xbone controller owns so hard.1 point

Yeah I'm not selling this game. Gonna replay it one day and try to do things differently from my first playthrough. The number of different variations is insane, the script must have been a real challenge to write.1 point

btw has anyone here ever watched Utopia? BBC show that only lasted 2 seasons before being cancelled Given the taste of show ppl here I think yous will enjoy it, @-GD- especially. We seem to have fairly similar taste and not to overhype it but imo it's top 3 best shows of all time good. It's super dark in themes yet bright in visuals, has the best cinematography of any show I've ever watched (even better than BB and BCS), uses juxtaposition in ways I haven't seen in other shows and is just downright amazing. Every scene is a work of art. This is the opening scene of th1 point

KH Switch would outsell both other versions combined. My dream is that with Switch's insane popularity, devs start prioritizing the platform. (We're #1 afterall). That means all versions should be built to spec with the industry standard hardware - the #1 Selling Switch. Gimp the other versions. Don't focus on graphics. Just get these games up and running where it matters most. N1 point
