It's interesting how social media has evolved from stuff that was pretty anonymous and faceless like ICQ, forums, etc and where all content was basically written. To something less anonymous and with less written content like Facebook and Twitter and now kids are only on stuff like Instagram and Snapchat which favor images and videos over actual written content. It's about a werewolf terrorizing a German town, and you play as Gabriel slowly uncovering a weird ass cult in the town. It's seriously, seriously a good game and story. The soundtrack is top notch. Unforgettable characters. The whole 90's vibe adds a quirky, fun vibe. IMO one of the best games ever made. My top 10. Just play it for an hour and see if I'm wrong

I think Microsoft abandoning exclusives on the Xbox brand was a major blow. It's the reason why Xbox 360 did so well (even if they were timed) last generation. I understand where they're trying to go in the future with streaming and access to their content, but all I can think of is how shit Microsoft is at doing anything despite having deep pockets. Within the first year the OG Xbox relied on Jet Set Radio Future, Sega GT, Panzer Dragoon Orta, some other smaller games like Shenmue 2 ports etc. Ninja Gaiden was so big Ryu essentially because the second Xbox mascot after Chief, and OG NG provided Xbox with a GOTG level game. 360 was defined by a huge Japanese push, early games like Dead Rising, Lost Planet. Followed by exclusives like Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, Tales of Vesperia etc.
