pros: excellent tool for promoting businesses, fitness programs/training, and acting/modeling; great way to keep in touch with family/friends who live far away; excellent platform for finding groups with similar interests. cons: distorts reality for impressionable users- ranging from political manipulation to instilling physical insecurities; cyberbullying; employer can terminate you for what you post on social media. bottomline: it can be great, but a lot of people are idiots and let social media ruin their lives.

I remember when “getting online” was a thing we did and we weren’t literally online all the time. It’s a really useful tool but people who live/put their own self-esteem into comments from the internet or how many followers are quite sad and it’s going to have such a negative effect on this younger generation. this thread really sucks. context matters as always. I left my home (my father raised me and 3 siblings ALONE) when I was 17 because everyone left at that time. My sister 3 years older than me, my brother 6 years older than me. My sister moved out, and then my bro got his own place (he was living with us until he was 23). I moved out and still went to school. But where I live you get "paid" for it. Had my own place at 17 at 20 moved into a flat with 3 other of my friends until I finished my degree. We dropped it 4 years later and now I have my own flat again.

just hooked up my PSVR and played a bit of AC7. Its pretty cool, but i actually felt really queasy after just a few minutes and couldn't even finish the first mission. Ill get back to it at some point. As for the headset, i have to say its actually surprisingly ergonomic and better built than the vive. Its simple to adjust and put on, i had no trouble finding the sweet spot when it comes to the clarity of the display compared to the vive, which i always spend a lot of time fidgeting with. The display is definitely lower resolution and not as high quality overall though.

The air game in BFV is definitely terrible, though I didn’t reallly enjoy it in BF1 either. At this point i’d still prefer it if they focused on adding content for modes that should be the focus like conquest
