I'm 37 and I just made a decision that will probably change my life drastically. Is it going to be worth it? Will I make it? Who knows but life is not to play it safe. I have health and people I trust and love which is all I need right now. In the meantime I listen to Bill Hicks, the guy was full of wisdom. "The world is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud. And4 points

Not really I did a bunch of years in marketing but I really couldn’t see my passion in it Started a business which I loved but didn’t have that unique money making idea Now in a decent Human Resources role earning over $100k a year, which I’m enjoying but is full of company politics and definitely feel like I’m back in the rat race I see myself going back to being a business owner eventually Been priced out of the Sydney property owning market with prices starting near $1.5 million which has been a real disappointment2 points

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2019-sekiro-shadows-die-twice-performance-analysis But what about the resolution basics? Sekiro is the first From Software game to aim for higher resolutions on the enhanced consoles. Both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X deliver an 1800p presentation, with the evidence suggesting that the Pro is using an image reconstruction technique to get to its target pixel count, but whatever approach From has chosen pays off massively - it's really difficult to tell one version from the other, even when zooming in tightly on captured screenshots, though1 point

I said this a long time ago now. Consoles will become unnecessary. They have another generation left.. maybe 2. Then it's done. I said that developers will develop ONE version of their games.. the PC version.. and then put it on all these gaming services. It's not going to happen all at once.. of course... but watch.. as these services begin to take hold.. and start posting more and more impressive numbers, and the market is big enough, then publishers will start to abandon traditional hardware... regardless of what companies like Sony or Nintendo do. plus improvements made to the Switch version will be applied to Xbox1 after the Switch version launches. and just yesterday the damage control that @DynamiteCop! pulled out his ass was that MS was not involved with this1 point

So I watched Us. It’s not as good as Get Out, in terms of being an entertaining movie, but it’s a better conversation piece. I wound recommend a viewer to go into it expecting a twilight zone-esque movie, with horror and humor sprinkled into it. There are some big twists, but I figured them all out way before the reveals. Still, I enjoyed watching them unfold. I need to watch it a second time, because there are few nagging, potential plot hole, issues. Nothing major at all. It’s just the OCD in me. I give it a 3 out of 4.1 point

So I quit gaming and then they announce a VTMB sequel out of the blue 15 years later?1 point

I finished Love, Death & Robots. There were a lot of eps that felt like glorified ads or college student art projects, but my favorites were: Sonnie's Edge - I really liked the vibe and atmosphere. Some nice gory twists too. The Witness - By far the most striking when it came to visuals. Everything about the way it looked was awesome. Suits - Probably the only 'cartoony' one I really liked. Fun action and it actually had a good number of likable characters. Beyond The Aquila Rift - Fucked up but really well directed and executed. My favorite of the bunch. Felt li1 point

It's just a much more enjoyable game to play minute-to-minute even beyond the loot. You take so much damage, the enemy AI is so aggressive and has a much larger arsenal of ways to flush you out of cover, and your in-combat regeneration is basically non-existent. It sounds like it can get super frustrating on paper, but it just requires being more tactical and triaging the threats on the fly.1 point

Jon always had terrible insight in games. What an idiot. Dude is all surprised a Miyazaki Souls like games is well liked by critics. After 5 times from 2009 with DeSo, DS1, Bloodborne, DSIII... The results are in, Sekiro is a great game. Never saw that coming!!!11 point

As GD said, dont wanna unveil that stuff yet. But one day if we're still al here I definitely wanna reveal it all . One of the reasons why I stopped doing all the comic stuff here is cause theres no time left when animation eats up so many hours.1 point

Big time. Put everything into perspective and makes you truly realise just how 'pointless' everything else in comparison. Plus it gives you the sense that it's not just about you anymore, that the greatest influence you are truly going to have on this world is that of raising your children and hopefully seeing that merit in their lives.1 point

no and it makes me depressed too. I do the same boring shit every day. I want to pick up dog shit at an animal shelter or work at a zoo getting pissed on by birds. I want to go to work and be happy and animals make me happy.1 point
