i doubt we will see another game like silent hill 2 and I'm not sad about it. it's my go to game when people start talking about how video games are for kids or mindless action shooter. It should be taught in schools to be honest. the amount of metaphors and subtle "signs" in the music throughout the game explaining what james goes through. But to be honest you will find out about so many details you don't understand in your first play through. I like reading peoples interpretation.

The response to Odyssey is so weird to me because I think it's up there with the Galaxy games. I agree with Casual's point about the game leaving a lot on the table as far as the movement is concerned, though. Long jump -> Throw the hat -> Dive -> Throw the hat -> Dive and Backflip -> Wall jump -> 180 -> Throw the hat -> Dive just completely obliterate any horizontal or vertical challenges the game puts in front of you and unlock some pretty hacky alternative routes that make the game feel unpolished in a weirdly uncharacteristic way.
