Nintendo doesn't own it solely, the reason it fell apart is because three companies are in control of different aspects of the game and toward the end of its development something fell apart. Microsoft owns the game itself technologically, engine, code etc, Nintendo owns the rights to the game itself as an IP, and Activision has control of publishing rights for 007 games. It's a mess.1 point

It really is embarrassing that MS continues to use late 80's music for Gears trailers, that make absolutely no sense other than to try and crib coolness from using that song. The song is about "God Money", so when they're singing about being under control and bowing down and fighting, its about being under the control of Money. It makes absolutely no sense for generic sci-fi crap like the Gears universe.0 points
