This is actually really we done with lots of depth, options, and a far greater skill cap than Batman even with a fairly similar combat system. It's engaging and challenging, and even if you beat an encounter you think how you could have done it in a much more stylish manner. I'm actually impressed. But I really have the soundtrack, it sounds like it could literally be part of any generic AAA game.

The story was excellent and a great use of the established IP. Also, the Spider-Man character is one of the best iterations of the character in any medium. The whole reveal was just so good even if you knew it was coming. The emotions they were able to convey with facial animations was just amazing. I'm a huge Spidey fan so I'm a little biased, but this was probably by favorite game on PS4.

It's the best use of an open-world I've played. Also, web slinging across NYC is one of the best experiences ever in game. I rarely ever used fast travel because it was so fun. Can't wait for the sequel.

This a game engine running on the hardware in real time.. that's different from showing an estimation of what it will would like. Those are two different things. The later is the one where the games never match the demo. The former is one where the games end up looking better than the demo. You also have to factor in this is the first iteration of ghe engine. Epic constantly updates the engine to be more optimized for the hardware it runs on.... CONSTANTLY, it's every evolving. That why the demo shown only represents the starting point of what the engine can

Not a fan of IX. Combat system is too slow and the encounter rate is really high. That's not a good combo. These issues don't really exist in the remaster though thanks to the game booster options but then there are the other issues I have with the game. I don't care for the cast, I don't like the art direction, I like the first half of the story but hate the second half, the side content is tedious as hell, and the game pacing can get really slow at times. I can see why its a favorite among fans but for me it wouldn't even be in my Top 5.

Yea, they did some fixing to the more egregious errors. And yea, Midgar goes by quick. I recently played it before the Remake was released and even taking my time and talking to multiple NPCs and fighting most fights and got to Shinra HQ within like 3h or so. It's definitely not as grande of a section as you'd remember from your childhood, that's for sure. Still shits on the remake though

They were on sale last week on PSN but not anymore. The Remasters will cost 20 bucks now. The X/X-2 Remaster is 25 which is a damn good deal.
