Yea I'm going to be honest. I'm probably not as far as you guys are, but this game is like a rollercoaster. For every awesome thing, there's some other thing that nags on me a bit. I feel like maybe I was just being too judgmental for small things, but they kinda just add up. I'm probably sitting around an 8/10 as it is right now... but still more to go. I don't think this game is putting Elden Ring in any danger of losing my personal GOTY award though. We'll see how it ends though.

It's honestly stupidly powerful. I don't even use DLSS2 or 3 unless I know that the image actually looks better than native.. because it's simply not necessary with current games. This thing completely fucking chews through them.

The game was tailored for next gen platforms, but is quite heavy. They probably didn't want to push things much further, so higher quality assets and textures were never made. The FPS dips pretty hard even on PC due to the CPU during the rat setpieces.. but they've been improving that so it's not so bad. They'll probably continue to work away at it, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see them add a 1080p/60fps mode to the consoles if they get it close enough.

We are at the same area. It’s been tough getting in game time this week. Hopefully, I can play more this weekend. But yeah, stunning area.
