Ok, Was a badass fight! Holy fuck! I wish there were more fights, of that scale, in this game.

There are definitely some enemies that can take a lot of damage but I also feel like you have so many runic abilities that you can melt them fairly fast if you really want. Can switch between all the weapons and use 2 runic abilities on each, have the rage, etc. Also the reason I'm defending the combat so much is because specifically when you do verse a boss or mini boss (basically anything with the big health bar) I truly do think the combat is awesome. This was the same with the Valkyries in the first one but I feel there is a lot more quality combat like that in this one. The p

I think so far the only time in the game that I felt a proper drag was Ironwood. That section was way too long and slow. Other than that though I personally haven't had any problems yet, combat maybe a little too much sometimes but it hasn't annoyed me yet. Last night I again just spent another session doing only Favours and I feel I'm fairly deep into the main stuff too but they still manage to drag me away with the side stuff so I guess that says enough about how much I'm enjoying it.

i like a lot of the writing. some bits of dialog do feel inconsistent. however, when all cylinders are firing, it's pretty fantastic stuff. is excellent.

This game is fun as hell My max survival time had been 13 or 14 minutes but then shortly after I managed to do a run where I got all the way to 25 & over level 60, also the first time I got to use one of the weapon evolutions (the big fireballs). Combined with maxed out lightning + garlic there was so much shit happening on screen but it was actually really satisfying to watch as dozens of enemies were being obliterated every few seconds.

This is the last game in this 'season' so I imagine they will do that eventually, especially since they're already planning a new batch of anthology games like this. But if I had to pick a best one I definitely think it would be House of Ashes. The first 2 are pretty inconsistent and this one seems like it has similar issues.

I don't think this gen is going to last as long for some reason. They'll probably ignore a Pro version and instead focus on the next console. I can see 2025/2026 seeing new consoles drop.

The NPCs giving every puzzle away is a major issue and one that Sony is having across multiple games, I won't be surprised if this is patched out in the future with a setting. The game is definitely massive and I also prefer much shorter games but I guess that is a preference thing. For eg I can't do AC games anymore cause they are just too much for me but I know many people prefer them that way. It could've definitely been a much tighter experience if it was shorter. Would let the story beats be better paced also. One issue I'm having is all the hidden loading segments due to this

I think you guys are being highly highly critical. Game has some issues but is overall incredible. The realms and level design are light years better than the first, the combat whether you are a fan or not is a marked improvement over the first, this overall cast is better than the first (Odin, Thor, etc are so damn good), the side content much better than the first and so on. Also I don't really understand the dialogue gate tbh, sure there is an overabundance of it especially when travelling the world and some little jokes but to call it Marvel-esque is a bit ridiculous imo. I was thinking about remij’s comments about the writing and I was just listening to a podcast where someone said that the dialogue feels like something from a Marvel production, and I think that sums it up well. The quip-y, joke heavy nature of it does feel at odds with the world and tone they’re trying to present a lot of the time.

All three are god tier action games.... Based on my first play through. 3's combat system and mechanics are the best in the series... 2 was the best overall package with better pacing and a better antagonist (those masked Lumen fights were *chefs kiss*) and Part 1 is the OG. I'll have to play it again on the harder difficulties because that's when everything really shines in Bayonetta ganes. But for right now 3 is equal to part 2 and both are batter than 1.

Yeah, thats why its important not to freeze the conflict. Russia wants time to replenish their forces and build more defenses along the frontline If stuff like this is accurate then time is not on their side
