If PS1 though PS4 have been nightmare gens then objectively no console has ever had a good gen.

Fact. No one in their right mind would take out a Wii and connect it to a SDTV to play some Wii games. One of the worst console ever made. Remember how most games were just terrible ports with tacked on waggle.

Im watching Andor at the moment but that will be my next show.

Off to a great start. I'm so interested to see how people unfamiliar with the game take to it. I feel like I can't be totally objective when many scenes are directly staged like the game. The driving sequence was so similar. I'm honestly looking forward to more deviations from the source.

Lemmings. I remember when people were absolutely trashing Nintendo when the Gamecube last had Resident Evil 4 come out in January 2005, and then the Gamecube had nothing for the rest of 2005, and then the first 11 months of 2006 until Twilight Princess came out, and that was a cross-plat. And people were describing it as the single worst gaming drought, ever. We've actually had longer gaming droughts, MULTIPLE gaming droughts, occuring during the Xbox One X, and Xbox Series X.

The combat is ass. Don't know what the fuck they were thinking.

Honestly im starting to think they should shelve 2 for now and just remake this one with revamped graphics, refined combat, and an extra layer of polish so there aren't any bugs/glitches. It would be guaranteed to be the best WRPG of whatever year it would come out in.

Well, I'm just stunned the game isn't crashing every 25 mins and that no questline has bugged yet. I played that game the month it came out, it was really rough but I liked it so much, I powered through the bugs and shit. I don't think I could do that now though.

Its funny you started replaying the game because last month I was in a gaming lull and thought about playing through it again myself And the latest unofficial patch was released just 2 days ago so its impressive how it continues to be supported. I haven't played the game in 10 years so it must be an even better experience now.

@Twinblade I take back what I said about VTMB. This game still owns. My god. Truly one of the best WRPG of all time. I hate to say it but it aged better than my other favorite, New Vegas. Which is just so buggy, even to this day.

GameCube was capable hardware compared to PS2 but everything else about it including N's publishing had an extra chromosome.

We're talking purely aesthetics at this point. Saucer always act like he's above everything but always praises the dumbest looking shit. For the record, the edgiest game made for a 'mature' audience on the N64 was about a squirrel who had a hangover and made poop jokes. 🤡

That's just because you're gay and don't appreciate good art. PS1 spawned some of the best franchises of all time. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid. I'd love to see anyone make an argument that Symphony of the Night or Chrono Cross were ugly and crude games with no artistic values while simultaneously praise the bland, blocky 3D graphics of the N64 with their generic cereal mascots. 🤡

Because MS thought they were on top of the world. At the time they figured rehashing HALOGEARSFORZA every year, combined with a slew of kinnect shovelware and 30 day exclusive CoD map packs was all gamers ever needed and therefore to them it didn't matter who made Halo so long as they had a Halo to complete the rehash trifecta. They probably thought all that TV TV TV shit they were planning for Xflop Done was an ace up their sleeves too.
