  1. Which platform is God of War better on, A). PS5 B.) PC (High end, with 3080, 3090, 6900xt, etc.) You're going in circles trying to avoid the above ever since my first post ITT. The most simple form of this answer was in my original response. I expect you to answer this post with either A or B. If not, you're just spinning and deflecting.
  2. This is so fucking confusing. So the PC version is not better than the PS5 version? It's not best on the PC platform? Because this is literally my main claim ITT. Yeah, I prefer the 50-100% fps gains and ultrawide immersion. But I can play it on my 4K display too!
  3. Then you agree it's best on PC. Including a rtx 3080....... I have a 3440x1440 and 4K display.
  4. Which I honestly don't notice at my viewing distance. I very much notice the immersive aspect ratio and significant (50-100%) FPS gains. 1080p (which those console games run at mostly) vs 4k is noticeable, 3440x1440 vs 4K less so. Those systems won't be running at the same high fps I'm talking about even at lower resolutions. They won't be using the same ultra settings. They also do not support Ultrawide, neither PS5 or XBX can do that resolution. But we're still debating Displays, not Systems. I can literally just plug in my 4K, play God of War for 30 seconds
  5. I've played on my 4k 16:9 for long periods of time. I've played on my 3440x1440 21:9 for long periods of time. Yes, I vastly prefer the significant FPS gains and longer aspect ratio. By a rather large margin. I notice the fps and aspect ratio more than I notice the resolution bump. If you want to say this is the reason it's not best on PC vs PS5 (which would be fucking stupid, because you're now comparing displays and not platforms), I'll just hook it up to my 4K for 1 minute and then I can say it is best on PC again. Easy Peasy 😎 But that's all irrelevant when talking about the
  6. Related news, God of War hits a concurrent peak of almost 60,000 players on Steam in just 24 hours • Eurogamer.net NICE!
  7. Wait, so are we back to talking about a single users display preference after I showed a video of a 3080 running this at 4K Ultra 70-98 fps? Better visuals and 20-50%+ more FPS than the PS5 version...... God of War, best on PC™. So we agree God of War is best on PC. So what's the debate again?
  8. This is an improvement. I was expecting your next deflection to be "bu bu DLSS doesn't count😢." Anyway, yeah. Best on PC. Including 3080.
  9. God of War , best on PC. God of War PC RTX 3080 DLSS vs FidelityFX Framerate and Performnce Comparison & Test - YouTube
  10. God of War is best on PC. meus work good with m&k and controller DX11, no shader compilation waits, or compilation stutter as seen in DX12/Vulkan games no Field of View option, possibly due to a lot of off camera tricks nvidia reflex to reduce latency, avg 11ms less vs ps5 proper PS5 controller support faster loading, ~4s faster over PS5 possibly limited by ssd and framerate PS4P/PS5 (will call this PS5 from here on out) uses checkerboarding to achieve 4K constant camera sway and particles cause artifacts in checkerboarding
  11. God of War is best on PC. In general, if you have an RTX GPU, you should use DLSS. Even a base-level RTX 2060 can effectively deliver a 4K60 experience with DLSS performance mode, which looks significantly better than the checkerboarded experience on PS4 Pro. If you can't use DLSS, consider the game's internal resolution scaler - it uses temporal reconstruction, which AMD FSR (also supported on any GPU) does not. Check out both options to see which you prefer. DLSS is my pick for RTX users, but there are some very minor visual issues, such as jitter on snow deformation. Rarer still
  12. God of War is best on PC. God of War on PC is a simply sensational port What's improved over console and how to get the best optimised experience.
  13. Yeah, really laughable that I own a 3080 TUF OC. Really low bar stuff. Anyway, I never argued your PC vs Mine. I just argued God of War is best on PC. Which it objectively is.
  14. You making fun of it won't make me not spend $3000 on a QD OLED version of it rather than buying the few MINI-LED 32" 4k 144hz monitors that are coming out in 2022 which will likely all cost less. (Although I'll likely get both 😎 ) I wasn't talking about that though. Not once did I debate your PC vs Mine. I knew yours was better 2 years ago, and I was glad people here were able to get 3090s and 6900xts. The argument wasn't whether God of War is better on your PC or mine. It was about God of War being best on PC, and n
  15. My GPU was $650. I got it to play the better version of 100% of xbox and 99% of ps games (including several games that don't go to each other, giving PC the most AAA/AAs), on top of having the best online (especially competitive gaming) by exponential margins and a few genres that I like which aren't even on consoles. I also can't imagine playing most genres I prefer on anything but my high end lubed keyboard switches and optical switch mouse. But to each their own.
  16. I brought up the Alienware QD-OLED to show you this resolution of 3440x1440, 21:9 aspect ratio, and higher fps is by far my preference and that I'd even be willing to spend $3000+ on those specs (That's the estimated price, hopefully it's lower luls). 4K 16:9 at much lower frames isn't my cup of tea. I HAVE ONE, it's collecting dust. No one brought up your PC lol, we were discussing displays, fps, and resolution. I know your video card is better than my 3080 TUF OC in the 2020 thread where we were all trying to get one. It isn't some great revelation and I never said otherwise.
  17. Uhh.....Dell monitors are actually known to be pretty decent in the monitor community. Dell Alienware AW3821DW Review - RTINGS.com And if this one sucks, which is unlikely, I'll just go to the source and go with the Samsung model. You should have done some research, this is like earlier in tha thread where you thought you had a QD OLED. 🤣
  18. Damn this kid was bragging about having a 5 year old OLED when I'm up here hyping the next gen version (QD OLED)?
  19. QD-OLED technology hasn't even come out yet. It's a brand new panel type. He has no clue what's going on, is Jerry drunk or some shit?
