MGS5 open world killed the pacing of the story, the atmosphere, the tension. The open world sucked. As did the shitty ass motherbase management for no reason, and shitty timers. Compare it to the tight experience of borderline RE horror of MGS1.

I have no doubt this game will be an experience and a Kojima masterpiece even if the gameplay lags behind.
