 What's the point of owning an Xbox when all its games are better on PC and PS5? Not only is MS porting its games to PS5 now but the PS5 is getting the better version of its games. The whole slate is gonna be coming to PS5 if Sea of Thieves does well and cows know this that's why they are buying it in droves. These consoles aren’t underpowered like the PS4 and XB1 were back in the day but they are still obsolete and you can see this when they try to run demanding multiplatform games especially those running with UE5. Any extra power the Pro is bringing to the table will absolutely be useful especially with UE5 games that will be pushing global illumination and Nanite that’s GPU intensive. Anyone that tells you otherwise is fucking liar and a retard.

The Pro is very much needed and will push significantly better graphics and framerates in most games. Even if the framerates don’t get pushed hard I’d still take it over the muddy 1440p we get nowadays with the consoles. It’d be nice to get resolutions closer to 4K with PSSR compared to the dogshit we get with FSR2 now in most multiplat games. 
 

One thing for sure, is that PS5 Pro will be getting the better version of Xbox games ensuring lemshits will forever be raped by cows

Everyone who games on PCs knows that every engine is different. Some engines are CPU limited and some are GPU limited. For games that are GPU limited the PS5 Pro will absolutely give you 60fps and higher, and games that aren’t probably not. Good thing this gen is that most games aren’t actually CPU limited but mostly GPU limited. The PS5 Pro will absolutely ensure more 60fps games for PS5, something that can’t be said for the shitty Xbox that you retards hyped this gen 

While Sony is trying to push for more 60fps games from third party publishers (they already deliver this universally on their 1st and 2nd party games) the idiots at MS are making sure all their own games release at 30fps, fucking pathetic

Honestly, I agree. Windows 7 was awesome, I still run it on one of my super old laptops. Win 11 is decent but nowhere near as good as Win 7 was.

But they've done enough optimization work since launch that you can run at lower TDPs and steam deck settings and get relatively similar battery life (although there's still more work to be done here).

I don't give a shit about handhelds, stopped gaming on them a long time ago but if I was still gaming on them battery life would be extremely important for me and I imagine it's still important for most people. Windows is an achilles heel for these handhelds and I don't think any handheld using windows will be able to compete effectively with Steam or Nintendo. They need to either create a totally specialized Windows OS for handheld gaming devices or just say fuck it and use Linux. Knowing MS they won't do either of these ideas so they are fucked if they go against Nintendo or Steam in this marketplace.

A computer and a handheld have completely different requirements. Handhelds need to be optimized for quick use and low battery usage. Something that WIndows is terrible at with all its bloatware, forced updates, and terrible battery optimization. Linux is way better handheld OS than Windows is and it's not even close. It has nothing to do with hating Windows or any of that shit. Windows is good as a general purpose PC OS but it's terrible as a handheld OS. It's why every handheld released so far that uses it ends up being garbage and inferior to the Steam Deck.

Sony still sells consoles in a lot of regions in the world where physical is the only option. For that reason alone they won't be going digital only. Microsoft is almost completely dead in retail and have no choice but to go digital since they probably spend more money printing CDs than they do actually selling them.
