I know I'm probably not too welcome here but I'll throw a few things out there. The URL sucks. systemwars.com redirects here, does Javier still own that? The forum needs to reside at sw.com honestly. Forums overall are dying, they just are. People prefer faster more streamlined interaction (discord for example) Pretend you've never set foot here before. Load up the home page, look at how busy the page seems. There's a lot going on! So many colors and different things happening. When I ran this place the old forumites ran off all the new people

I did some sketchy shit too, no doubt, I'm not great at themes though! I'm good at buying them and installing and tweaking them.

I've also never expected to be kept around as admin and would have zero issue ever getting removed. But I will never ever purposefully fuck things up ever.

Nah just reading through the thread. I would never fuck this place up on purpose. This place is probably the reason I didn't graduate college, literally poured hundreds of hours into keeping this place going. It was rough. But it means a lot to me, it really does. And I've never talked shit about it, some of the users, sure, I can't stand a lot of people here anymore but the site itself still means a lot to me.

Just a reminder that this site will not succeed trying to write factual reviews or previews, I can link you to 1500 sites that do the same thing that no one pays attention to. Look what happened to totalgamerzone it completely fell apart. We kinda have to embrace the fanboy perspective to differentiate ourselves.

vBulletin 4.0 was just announced and it's going to come with a CMS system for your frontpage. ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ It will adopt whatever skin your forum has so they have an exactly unified look and feel. All users will be shared and Admins/Super Mods can create content, edit content etc. So... Question is, do we want to wait till later this year to see how this works when it releases, or continue on with Wordpress?

That's probably better handled on the forum side of things.

I'm all for it, but I'm just slightly of the opinion we need to get the main site running first. Granted the Podcast can be completely seperate for now, but I think we may need a couple teams, one working on Podcasting and one for the main site.

I got a bit burnt out to be quite honest after putting it all together over the course of several hours in one day. I'm honestly not sure I was hoping the community could help me out and decide where to go from here. Or if anyone thinks that anything else needs to be done. I couldn't get that Youtube plugin error to go away, I did as it said but it fucked up somewhere.
