Currently in the mood to catch up on last gen games . I got myself a PS3 Slim with a bunch of games for dirt cheap. What other games should I get besides the list of games I got below? If this is true, PS4 might outsell the Switch this holiday. The intial Sony FY forecast of 16 Million is officially a smokescreen. Lol I don't think it makes sense though. Last year $199 PS4 sold out in hours and there was no PS4 to be found for the rest of Black Friday. It's a waste.

Sure. I'm most impressed how they managed their evergreen franchises. Zelda, Pokemon, Mario remain as popular as ever, even more so now. Many Sony IPs just rise and fade in one gen but they are doing better now with GOW, Uncharterd and TLOU. And we see how MS couldn't do that with Halo and Gears of War.

I did the money glitch so I don't have to worry about paying off bounties when I feel like doing something more than playing the nice guy. I'm at 25% at, still chapter 2 too.

Really impressed by Nintendo's ability to find success in many areas(where MS and Sony are not directly competing in) such as: Switch, 3DS, Amiibo, mobile games, classic consoles, theme parks etc, and at the same time keeping their IPs popular like Mario, Smash, Zelda, and even Fire Emblem. Used to think that Nintendo would be better off going 3rd party, I'm not sure about that anymore.

Smash bundle, Pokemon bundle, NSMB bundle + any discount for Black Friday/holiday sales, I can see them hitting it. But like I said they are heavily reliant on their first party.

Smash is gonna be huge going by the hype its getting. But do we really need another Smash Direct?

Impressive. I think Nintendo is too reliant on first party though. I mean they have 15 million to sell in 6 months to meet their 20 million FY forecast and all of that lies on Smash and Pokemon.

I know that place toned down a lot. Not sure if anything's change over the years though.

To add on. Even if XBOX One is perceived to be a "failure" this gen, MS have much more ammo to help them get back to the top. Anyone expecting a Sega style pull out is delusional.

Who cares when Microsoft as a whole posted 8.8 Billion dollars NET PROFIT this quarter alone. That's 8.8 Billion dollars of pure profit in 3 months. 3 months of MS's profit is double Sony's WHOLE YEAR profit and more than triple Nintendo's. MS is simply on a different level.
