I cannot believe so many SW forumites here have bandwagon to the defense LinusTechTips. That tells me how far Linus got into mainstream popularity for SW forumites to come to his defense and see him as the innocent party. Everyone on WCCFTech always saw Linus as a joke/scammer and these allegations and evidence of sloppy work from the expose only cemented folks position.

Just Vaush, I can't stand Jimmy Dore... he's a joke. I discovered Vaush from The Serfs, after someone posted here years ago when Vaush was interviewed by Tim Pool. I also watch Destiny, The Majority Report, H3H3, Aba & Preach, and PlayBack.

Steve (GN) demonetized that video, so you're just reaching here with that assessment. He even went after another YouTuber a year ago who had a similar ego as Linus .

I've written Linus off this year, his videos got really stale and attention seeking, he's been scraping the bottom of the barrel of tech to do videos on.

Um, what the hell, the graphic detail of the characters like the series progressed backwards. It looks worse than MK11.

I think 12GB should be sufficient at 1080p for this game, I don't expect no pixel texture loss would occur with that card, unlike the 8GB GPUs. I did some tests playing this game with 8GB VRAM on some older GPUs running this game at 1080p max where I saw a lot of problems. The game will crash out on my RTX 2080 + R9 5900X rig, kick you to the desktop with not enough memory error and ask I lower settings. So I switched to my eldest rig, RX 5700 XT AE + R7 3700X rig , and was amazed to see that Team Red's 2019 GPU can run Diablo IV maxed out stable than my old Turing card.

Visually the game doesn't look any better than Forspoken

Having bought & played Final Fantasy XI, 13, VII Remake. I have no doubt that this 9/10 is over scored rating, probably done by a FF fanboy, so biased score.

Like buying PS1 - Final Fantasy VI to play off your PS3, when the game been played for years prior as Final Fantasy III on SNES.

It didn't look any more ground breaking than what Bioware showed off with Mass Effect on Xbox 360 some 16 years ago. Take it or leave it. Game developers are just recycling same old formulas folks have already played.

Instead of getting 1080p performance in games off your 3060, you're getting close to 1440p performance without the improved resolution, that's a negative. For me, I have two rigs that are exclusively 1440p. One has RX 6800 XT, it's performance is best at 1440p, at lower resolution it under performs.

Right just buy a 1440p display.

For once, 2560x1080 is a very weird resolution. Two, at 3440x1440 resolution you might as well just go 4K since your GPU is going to be working just as hard. I have a couple displays that are 2560x1440

If it makes you feel better they gave Forspoken a 5. I played the game, beaten in and kept playing as there more things after beaten the game. I wouldn't rate this game no lower than a 7. It is certainly not mediocre. Just from looking at the bad merits, I can tell the reviewer likely only played 10% of the game, as the first and last bullet point seem to indicate. 2nd bullet point is very subjective. 3rd bullet just feel like the first and last in that the reviewer didn't take the time to play the game.
