He did everything he tried to do in Lost but just so much better. I was worried too given the polarity of the Lost finale and the way that ended but my god it was so good. You can take or leave Nora’s story but it didn’t really matter at all because that’s not what the show was about. The character development of everyone, particularly Nora and Kevin, was incredible. The ending of them just holding hands was perfect.

I loved the episode too in the “afterlife” when he’s the president and Patty is his secretary of defense. The part where he has to do the dick scanner is awesome. :D

season 3 was so godly, even topping the amazing 2.

So here’s my quick review of hereditary:   1. It’s nowhere near being the scariest movie ever. It’s more of an unsettling thriller.    2. It’s surprisingly unpredictable. The trail

my mini review of mother:   I finally saw the movie Mother. I think it’s a better work of art, and conversation piece, than it is a film. The symbolism and metaphors are fantastic, and it wa

The Leftovers was Lindelof without the network pushing him to continual make more episodes and seasons (since Lost got so popular). It was exactly what he wanted it to be and it was near perfect. The amount of incredible moments that show has that aren't the usual 'twist' or 'shock' type moments is amazing. I especially loved the Pastor episodes, his centric eps every season were always my fav.

I actually can't believe there are people here who watch both Leftovers and The Americans :-* Some amazing taste gents

The moment when he goes to the casino or when he’s on the roadside are crazy and tragic. The Job analogy is pretty in your face but Eccleston plays the part so amazingly well. Scott Glenn and Ann Dowd are standouts too. It’s so disgraceful that this show barely managed one Emmy nomination for a guest role for Ann Dowd in season 3.

Yeah he is easily the most tragic character in the show, crazy how he didn't win an emmy for his work, let alone anyone else or the show itself but the Emmy's are a popularity contest as much as anything else. Breaking Bad only started winning in it's final 2 seasons when it became a hit.

That’s actually not true. Bryan Cranston won the Emmy in his first year for the seven episode season. It’s what got me hooked on the show. I couldn’t believe the dad from Malcom won a best actor for drama Emmy and looked up it takes place in Albuquerque (my hometown for 18 years) and I was sold.

I meant the show overall for Best Drama, but you're right also. Cranston himself though was a huge name and the shift from comedy to such heavy drama definitely helped.

Next couple of months should be some good television with Sharp Objects on HBO in July and Better Call Saul and Ozark in August. I really wonder though what drama HBO will have to air in the fall. No GoT or Westworld or really any other big tent pole drama to fill that slot.
