I updated with no problem. Did you have a secure connection?

The controller has to be charged or plugged in.

frezees even outside of updating. :meh:

I let it recharge for a little...and the update went to 73%...isntead of the 3% it used to before.

I'm depressed now...

Yes, the light is red and blinking when being charged. There is a "Restore PS3" option under Settings. You might want to read the manual to see what that is first, I'm not sure what it does yet.

I think it has heating problems. :meh:

When updating it turned off and the red light started blinking. :meh::(

And I wanted to play with this so badly.

Try the restore... it may not even be the hardware. OS could be corrupt after failing to install an update.
Where do I find how to do that?

BTW...touch the PS3 on top of your PSU thing....is it warm in there?

And see what kind of air it blows out.

Yeah, thats where the air blows out of... the top vents. Yes, it's warm and thats normal by the way.

The "restore PS3" option is under Settings>System Settings I believe.

Can't anymore...I'm stuck on the system update screen...

Or will it not come up if I remove the disc?
