how many of these superhero tv shows are there :cosby2:

Just on Netflix:

DareDevil

Jessica Jones

Iron Fist

Luke Cage

+ Defenders 8 Episode tie-in with the aforementioned characters

Punisher

Plus you've got the TV ones, which are both Marvel & DC :killzone:

Flash

Arrow

Supergirl

Agents of Shield

Legion

The Gifted

Cloak & Dagger

i finished Jack Ryan recently. The finale came off as rushed, but the rest of the series is pretty damn solid imo. In some ways it feels like Homeland-lite, but at the same time it doesn't have as much filler and pointless sub plots.

Honestly, I knew of a few of them (Apparently Legion is dope) but most I had to Google - as I knew there were some DC one's but couldn't recall the titles.

As for the Netflix ones, I've seen those ones, and they're very good; especially the Punisher and Dare Devil. But Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Season 2 of Iron Fist are solid entries as well.

Lets say its on purpose and a throwback to "Nazis still control us"

I just watched Mother! For the first time. Its disturbing and whatever message it was trying to be a euphamism for is not that deep. Fuck that movie. Granted i felt necessary to finish it, so it held my attention.

i thought you guys were talking about the (great) korean flick for a moment there.

That one is amazing. In fact i was suggested to watch Mother! Because someone confused the two while i was talking about the Korean one.

Im gonna look up a few reviews and people's own interpretations of Mother! I just need a second to forget that fucking scene

Ok currently re-watching Mother! after I watched what the director Aranofsky had to say about its allegories. And the mixed reviews. He says almost proudly that he wrote the movie in 5 days, while most reviews say that's the film's weakness. I think its a pro and con. It made it unpredictable compared to movies with pre-screenings, but some parts don't seem well thought out.

While re-watching it, I can sort of tell or miss what seems on purpose and a hint at something, and trying to look for meanings where there is none.

I'm still adament that the most controversial scene in the movie is pretentious shock value. Sure I get the allegory and now I'll never look at the eucharist and communion the same way, and why did I passively think the words said were normal to begin with? But going that extreme in the movie just to make that point, is sick.

Watching audience reaction videos next lol

I look it up and see a japanese, south korean and american movie. Never saw a mother movie besides some awful porn.

So I finally watched Mandy. Holy fuck, what a trippy ass movie! It was so fucked up, that I loved it. I don’t think it’s for everyone, but you should definitely watch it while you’re high.
