The Righteous Gemstones is one of the strongest first seasons for a sitcom I’ve watched. It was really funny but also compelling with great performances. I would highly recommend it, and I hope it gets some recognition come next Emmy season. If you have HBO, you should definitely check it out. It can be binged in a weekend.

I need to finish Vice Principals because I never got more than 2 episodes past that.

 

Something about the premise of Vice Principals didn't stick with me. Like I don't like Danny McBride in that role, even though I keep on hearing great stuff about Walton Goggins.

So I’m on season 2 of insatiable. It’s the most bonkers and absolute dumbest shit I’ve seen...but I can’t stop watching It. I feel dirty and ashamed. It’s like...”let’s come up with the craziest ideas...toss them in a bag..and pick random ones to tell a story.” I need to see this through.

I loved the premise but I tried watching the pilot and was turned off by the performances. The acting was bad.

Yeah, the show has problems like (very slow pacing with too much buildup at times) but i still think it does a lot of interesting things with the setting and the universe that they built in general.
