It was really funny but also compelling with great performances. I would highly recommend it, and I hope it gets some recognition come next Emmy season. Something about the premise of Vice Principals didn't stick with me. Like I don't like Danny McBride in that role, even though I keep on hearing great stuff about Walton Goggins. Yeah, the show has problems like (very slow pacing with too much buildup at times) but i still think it does a lot of interesting things with the setting and the universe that they built in general.
