It was good but Im of the mind that they should end the show soon, especially with everything that they tie up in the story this season.

i'm 6 eps in, so i wonder if i'll feel the same. but yeah, i rather see the show end on a strong note than a forced one.

Enjoyed the Saul finale a lot. Thankful we got 14 years of this wonderful universe and brilliant creative, writing, and directing team. It was a wonderful journey. The little thanking thing with the a

Saw Extraction that just dropped on Netflix yesterday.

its 2 hours of gun porn and John wick/the raid style fights. But it was entertaining. It has Chris hemsworth who plays  in the Thor movies and it’s by the Avengers director.

Theres a 10 min scene that’s a one take where it’s a car chase that’s incredible.

Watched HBO's new movie, Bad Education, starring Hugh Jackman and Alison Janney.

Pretty good. Its like a flashy crime movie about people getting away with stuff, and then it all crumbling down on them. But they're not mobsters or anything like that.

So Westworld.....

tonight’s episode will be the season’s most polarizing one. I actually enjoyed it a lot, even if the big reveals were a bit predictable imo. However, I dug how they were revealed. Though, I can see it not resonating with all fans. Hell, some may find it lackluster.  I found the penultimate episode to be successful with putting everything in motion for the finale. It was almost too neatly done, though. I kind of miss the chaotic and puzzling aspects of season 2. They were frustrating, but they were shrouded in mystery with a fantastic payoff. I am curious how the new arc will play out. I have full faith that the finale will deliver.

A couple of months ago, when I was channel surfing, I watched the first few minutes of Open Range, a 2003 movie starring Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner.

And the imagery felt so beautiful and just, like, it felt like something I needed to see that was different from all the other dark and gritty movies.

So I have it on DVR and finally watched it. What a beautiful movie. Like a great palette cleanser.

Just beautiful imagery that is meant to represent Montana in 1882 (I think it was filmed in Alberta) And both Duvall and Costner go to great lengths to convey realism as cattle grazers.

And I had to pause and try to find out a little bit about what exactly it meant to be a cattle grazer, and what "open range" rules were like back then. Basically you collect cattle and horses, and as long as you didn't take them from a fenced-in area or a brand animal, it was yours to keep.

But some people who lived on their own land didn't like the idea of those people passing by and collecting livestock from around their area.

I was fully prepared for this movie being low on action, but ultimately it has an action cimax that's pretty damn good. So I was happy with the movie. Beautiful movie.

I'm enjoying it for what it is. I just think keyboard warriors on the internet are upset their theories aren't coming true this time around. I still think we're in for an epic mindfuck in the finale.

many wanted this to be a "future world" within a world, but i'm fine with the direction the show took. plus, after having some time to think about it, i'm stoked to see how aaron paul's character will lead the human rebellion (which will be a cilvil war that will exterminate mankind).

I still think Cerac is a Rehoboam. Have we seen him physically in person yet or interact with anything in the real world? Or he could be in a host body. I am actually excited to see what they do Paul's character. This season feels more like an extended epsiode of Black Mirror more than the Season 1 of the show, but I like the evolution and the path we've gone to reach here. I'm sure season 4 will be another departure from the formula. Also, William is going to do something important in the finale. Can't get enough of him just being pissed off at Ford. :D

I'm one of the ppl that was a bit iffy on that ep tbh and it has nothing to really do with the direction of the story. Just felt the Caleb reveals fell pretty felt and were not really surprising in any way. Also the ep had a lot of exposition and just felt much smaller in scale to even the previous episode.

Also like:

They didn't even do anything to 'Solomon'. They literally just went down and basically asked it to change course and it was like 'ok'. Give how smart Serac has been portrayed and the immense secret and extent this program has went through that just seems unrealistic. I mean he had to 'fix' his brother cause he was one that could change the programming and gave it a new course. Now anyone and everyone that just walks in and speaks to it can just ask it to direct humanity in any direction. I could stretch my mind and say that it's because it's Dolores (a machine) talking to machine but then even after she left, Caleb was basically doing similar.

In regards to Caleb, it was dead obvs from the start that he killed Francis. Was expecting a little bit of a bigger reveal tbh.

Anyways it sets it up pretty well at least. The human rebellion should be cool. Just not a huge fan of how it got there

I've been watching season 2 of Ozark and really enjoying it. I don't know why I didn't pick it up again after I really enjoyed the first season. I guess I was just lazy.

Anyways, redneck Breaking Bad is still fantastic.
