Each album has a unique vibe, the first EP is very Radiohead, then they go alt dance like Bob Moses, and now this one is kinda Talking Heads. I can't remember the last time I wanted the characters in a horror movie to die this badly edit: that was actually pretty fun even if it was surprisingly short. There's almost no set up before shit hits the fan, but on the other hand that means that the pacing is pretty tight with very little downtime throughout. My sis and I just watched it, and goddamnnnnnn Yeah, it's a very lean Horror Slasher movie, one second everything is okay and then the very next second was pure fucking Chainsaw and stayed that way till the end. Lots and lots of great kills Spoiler That bus scene though!!!! Holy shit, that was pure fucking GOLD...for a split second you're thinking they're not about to do this and then immediately you're like "yeahhhhhh, they're totally doing it". It reminded me of the Piranha 2010 remake where they slaughter everyone. Kinda like Friday the 13th and those franchises, where you know the Jason's, the Freddy's, the Michael's aren't real, you know Leatherface isn't real either. It was still pretty fucking gritty, but it had a nice balance between the styles. I bring that up cause after the 03 TCM remake, they were full on dark n gritty mode where it felt hella real at times.
