-GD-X★ 7,729 Posted November 3, 2021 Author Share Posted November 3, 2021 finished season 5 of Animal Kingdom. they doubled down on a particular subplot and i felt it paid off. as for the season, itself, it was still very entertaining. i wasn't a fan of the direction they were going in, however, it felt appropriate and natural (considering 4's crazy ending), and i liked how it all came together. i'm glad 6 will be the final one. they've done a good job at keeping each season fresh. (Lucy and Renn) Jesus. there are actually quite a few hot chicks. the heists are a lot of fun, especially in the later seasons. the main scene stealers are Smurf (the mom) and Pope (scary sociopath who is still likeable, despite being majorly fucked up). the surfing stuff is well shot and edited too.
