Like I said, it’s not the fastest paced show, but I’m glad to know there are deep characters and interesting political/social arcs, in addition to the cool premise of the Russians landing on the moon first. Very fun show and they definitely cracked up the horror and gore this season. Fully caught up on The Boys newest season. While the shifts between space/personal conflicts in season 2 weren’t nearly as balanced as 1’s, the last 4 eps put the series back on course, setting up what should be an amazing third season. While it doesn’t add anything new to the “root for the underdog” formula, the flick definitely gives it a lot of heart, humor and style (loved the basketball film work and editing). If you hate Sandler, you may like him here. I’d say this is easily his best work (I know that’s not saying much lol).
