I believe we have an impact on it but have absolutely zero dictation over the shifts and trends. This planet has been all over the map with extreme heat and cool trends, we had an Ice Age 12,000  years ago for christ sake which was like 2 million years long.

I think we might accelerate things a bit but don't actually change the direction things were heading anyways. All the shit we're seeing is stuff that would take place regardless of out intervention or not. If we were going back into an Ice Age of natural causes right now some crazies would create data links  trying to say it was human caused all the same.

We have control of nothing, these people are insane.

The trends align exactly to increases in industrialisation and carbon emissions. You’re arguing that’s purely coincidence? Even if “we don’t know” as you argue - why take the risk? Why not move towards clean energy in case we are fucking up the planet with the way things are done now?

On topic, of course we are. Any individual denying it is just plain dumb and as for corporations/governments then it's a little more obvious why they'd want to deny it.

The truth though is that on an individual level there really isn't much you can do that can have an actual impact. 30% of all carbon dioxide omissions come from China, double that of second place USA. That's 2 countries making up nearly 50% and even heavy regulation isn't going to have any major impact on their emissions.

My entire country of Australia can deindustralise and go back to 'living off the land' and it will have as close to zero impact.

Back on an individual level, the sole act of having a child will have more of a impact on the earth than all other individual actions combined and that is a core act of the existence of the human race.

So yeah, we're sort of fucked.

because apparently 3 million jobs would be lost.. because no new industry would take its place.. LIKE IT ALREADY HAS BEEN DOING. lol

The key is seeing $ signs in clean energy and some countries like China have figured that out, which is why they’ve gone full steam ahead

You can tax industries for carbon dioxide emission as much as you want but as long as the capitalist world is depending on fuel it's not going to do jack shit.

So lets get off fuel! We have the tech!

We're slowly getting there but you'll have to sell your truck first.

I'd love an electric truck but we don't have them yet. So i went with the most fuel efficient one i could buy at the time.

Wouldn't work.  People had more than one kid, they'd just kill or disown the girls.  That's why there are a shitload more men than women in china.  Dating there is basically a lottery for poor and middle class men.

Better to educate provide a strong social safety net for your population to bring them out of poverty.  Every country that does this has declining birthrates.  The US would have a declining polulation if not for immigration.

And? Because Nigeria and Bangladesh are farting out children this helps Europe exactly how?

Plus your retarded graph has no context, because the % of all of old non working age people will double in the next 30 years. As will there will be a massive decline of women of child bearing age.
