yes... just as clear as the 3DS streaming games that remained Japan only... clearly!!! :Jeff:

Yes... just as clear as only X and Y devs were going to do it...right?  ...except now Z devs are trying it too...

This is EEEEAAAASSSSYYYY money for developers.  If these games do well enough... they'll broaden the scope.  You'd be stupid to think that they wont.

Currently still Japan only and a few games just like 3DS.

Talk to me in a few years when this becomes mainstream WW

It will definitely come mainstream .

It's going to take decades.  America won't get this until the infrastructure is there, and the infrastructure won't be there so long as ISPs control the legislation through lobbying and campaign donations.  It sure as shit won't happen so long as a fucking ex-Verizon lawyer is in charge of the FCC.

we really need a native version of RE7, DMCv and RE2 on Switch. there's no excuses now.

We're #1, prioritize us.

There is an excuse, it's a weak piece of shit not worth the painstaking effort of trying to get AAA games running on it.

RE2 on Switch would sell 2x the Xloaf version.

There's really no need for these companies to make Xloaf versions at all, re-purpose those resources, those teams and the manpower behind Switch versions. Much more profit to be had.

PC as well. No one likes PC. Why does PC get a version when likely 1/10th the people will buy it than on Switch?

NO EXCUSES. We're #1. Prioritize US, the real gamers, the paying customers, the non-pirates, the non-Xloafers. :glad:

Because you can just port from PS4 to Xbox One and PC. With Switch you would make to pretty much make brand new game from scratch because of how shitty the hardware is.

Also..lol...PC versions sell  well these days.  Almost every japanese company is tripping over themselves to get to Steam.

What that the switch is a different console compared to PS4/X1 or that PC games sell well, or both?

Actually don't answer that, just logout for 24 hours, k thanks.

That it's in a completely different performance bracket which would require extensive costly retooling to design games around... to the detriment of the game experience in most cases. :|

It would be fine... and IS in many cases.. however many developers wont be willing to bother... especially when you consider the stigma Nintendo has when it comes to 3rd party games.  Indie games and higher quality niche games are great to port over and do well on the system.  Right now that's Nintendo's bread and butter in between their own releases.  You start bringing over compromised high end experiences over to it and people will be dissatisfied... and the more games that come over, the less visible the smaller indie games become... games which actually make sense for the system.

Cloud streaming technology solves a few of these issues for Nintendo and 3rd parties.  It allows them to release on the platform with relatively low risk.. no porting required.  It allows the console the ability to play games that are technologically above its level... and assuming they do well enough.. encourages 3rd parties to bring more games to the platform.. and assuming a big enough player-base... could lead to native games developed specifically for the Switch.

I don't know why people are hating on this technology, especially in this case.. It makes perfect sense.  We make fun of it because it isn't matching a native experience, but it works well enough already that for many games it's just fine.
