It's spending $500 vs spending $500...  Not everybody needs to upgrade their entire PC every time... that's the benefit.  You spent $500 on and Xbox One... and then 3 years later spent $500 on what is essentially just a GPU upgrade... it's got the same CPU...

One game means absolutely nothing. I'm not sure why you're trying to argue this. This is essentially comparing an RX 580 vs. 1080. Should I go ahead and start posting the comparisons for these two GPUs?

YES a GTX 1080 can do 4K ultra with 60fps... and NO.. .the X1X doesn't match the PCs ultra settings.  It comes close.. but uses dynamic optimization which falls a bit short in instances.. 

 

Set the PC to dynamic optimization to Ultra (essentially the same as X1X) and you'll get a locked 60fps on a 1080.

 

The 1080 shits on the X1X man and the 1080's about to be old news

Dynamic Optimization has never been confirmed by DF,   They said it might be using it.
