Capcom Expecting to Lose $40 Million, Isn’t Changing Financial Projections

But RE2 and DMC5 coming before the end of the fiscal year should make the year profitable for them.

And they said they are only worried for the quality of their games. Which show their commitment. I think they understand now that they can only take risks on making the best AAA possible games, they can't rely forever on B-rate side projects, smartphone games and HD Remasters/ports.

Looks like Capcom is trying to pull a Sony. I expect Capcom to stop producing trash games meant for Xbox and start focusing on  quality games meant for PlayStation.

The tumor has been removed now. Capcom Vancouver = dead, DMC5 = in-house made and looks amazing.   Don't kid yourself. MHW reached 10m worldwide. Switch can get the handheld scraps though,

You ain't getting shit

By releasing a bunch of multiplats?:mindblown:

No, by getting away from Microsoft and releasing trash games like Dead Rising and Lost Planet and other massive mistakes ala Xbox One. Looks like they're focusing on quality and looking to Sony to lead the way starting with RE2.

They know that Monster Hunter has to be a cash cow for them. They are taking their time to make sure that their first entry on the Switch will be a huge game. They're probably waiting for Pokemon and Smash to get out of the way, and release it early next year.

The damage that charlatan Inafune did to Capcom is amazing.

This is what happens when you ignore the switch and give it scraps.

Don't kid yourself. MHW reached 10m worldwide. Switch can get the handheld scraps though, it's fine as an extra source of revenue on the side while the important games gets made for current gen consoles. Nintendo fans = second rate citizens.

As a sign of support to Capcom, I'm gonna buy SF 30th Anniversary Collection, Mega Man 11 and Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle.

I normally wouldn't but RE2 and DMC5 are showing signs of Capcom greatness returning. (RE7 was great also)

Don't ask what Capcom can do for you, but what you can do for Capcom.

Yeah, Street Fighter V really lit the world on fire with PlayStation 4 :hest:

Not like it would have sold that much more with a Xbox One version anyway. It didn't help Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

Those games were kinda doomed to fail from the beginning.
