Wouldn't be it weird if a person they are hiring wouldn't be able to work with Direct 3D regardless of platform...

Apparently it's still necessary to state as a requirement

Well they still have 1 game more contract with Sony.

Could be expanding into two teams, you never know.

I'm just buggin.  It's most certainly nothing.  They likely require PC engine expertise to begin preliminary work on their next generation title.  PS5 hardware doesn't exist at this point and their dev kits are essentially PCs with target specs similar to what the console will have.  They'll likely begin the process of development on PC and then transition it to the final dev kits when they eventually receive them.

Someone apparently said that Detroit was the final game in their contract with Sony?  I dunno if that's true or not

But if that's true.. then it could possibly be a multiplatform game.

Who knows?

Good, I hope Sony stops paying David Cage and his awful directing, writing.

Redirect that money towards better projects.  Let Microsoft pick up pathetic developers.

detroit was amazing. i get the gripes with heavy rain/beyond, but detroit is the best game in this genre.

Without a shadow of a doubt it will. Their deal with Sony is over and I'm pretty sure Sony wasn't that keen on getting them back for the next one. High cost to invest in their games and still a niche genre. Plus the controversy of David Cage.

Tbh these types of games need to be multiplat too so they can thrive.
