Playstation Tablet 1,725 Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 (edited) The original targeet in 2017 was 2019, it's still on track for 2019 with a possible delay, though if delayed target is unknown, spring or holiday 2020. They apparently might revise their original 2017 "vision" of hardware, services and games and forced to delay. This is because of the new increased competition of streaming, google, amazon etc that didn't exist in their 2017 pitch. Also they confirmed BC for PS5, but apparently before their 2017 more indepth plan for the system they were planning to release it without BC.
