Now on sale on steam. $13.39

Explain this game

It's garbage, random encounters with the same 2 different thugs every 5 seconds (all randomized, they're on every corner), SHitty side missions (point A to point B fetch quests) and PS2 era beat em up

im guessing you somehow missed the dozens of posts filled with universal praise about the game. Just try it.

from sony sheep. They are not to be trusted. You, I respect. Tell me a little about the game so I don't go in blind.

You might like it for it's story, characters, music, loads of optional side mini games and solid gameplay.

You might not like it for it's long cutscenes, outdated visuals and gameplay (still looks and plays great though), JRPG style random encounters and pacing issues.

Hmm, no autosave. Just wasted 30 minutes  Where do you save??

Seems ok, its mad dated but it looks ok, my PC runs it good at Ultra settings.

Its Japanese as fuck that's for sure. Ill play it after I finish ACO and RDR

The PC version was patched to autosave at the end of chapters.  But yea, it doesn't autosave nearly enough.  Luckily on PC you can save anywhere anytime.  The function is there, just not activated.

I know you hate fucking with shit.. but just do this... it will make your life a lot easier when you decide to play the game.

  • Make sure that ‘hidden files’ are showing in Windows.
  • Go to Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Sega\Yakuza0.
  • Open settings.ini and change SaveAnywhere=0 to SaveAnywhere=1.
  • You will now be able to access a ‘save’ option in the settings menu.

Settings

No settings.ini

the settings file IS the settings.ini file.

Open it with notepad and then press "ctrl + f" to search.. then type "saveanywhere" it should automatically go there.
