Yeah, but it's these kind of tears:       Compared to actual lemming tears:

They’ll ruin the studio regardless. MS is cancer.

Bookmark this thread for two reasons: First to bump it when it we find out which developer it turns out to be; and secondly to bump it again when their game inevitably flops.

MS getting a good product will be better for everyone

Its funny but also kind of sad how easily lemmings have been brutalised this gen

Do you not realize what happened with Rare ? :| Microsoft acquiring someone = no more good games on ANY platform

This is quite sad.

Sony doesn't say anything, they just show up with a game trailer of a new game and they say "oh yeah, we made it with this studio"

Microsoft is trying to leak news of them POTENTIALLY getting somebody else's sloppy seconds.

Rare now isn't rare when you were a kid . Expecting a bunch of 50 60 year olds to still be making AAA platforming games lol

But but is MS fault . Maybe rare just isn't good anymore ?

If the odd studio acquisition lead to some lacklustre games - like a game that ended up scoring a 7 or 8 instead of 8 or 9 that would be one thing.

If every other studio acquisition lead to some decent AA titles, that would be another thing.

But the history of Microsoft acquisitions has been a complete disaster.  I mean even when it comes to grabbing their last studio: Compulsion games. They then released We Happy Few which is sitting at 64-67 depending on the platform; and they're are some awful, and I mean awful reviews to pad the score of this unpolished, bugtastic mess of a title.

Ms bought compulsion after that game was done . They had nothing to do with it .

And rare has made a bunch of 7 or 8 games after Ms bought them .

Idiots

Who gives a shit. All of these new acquisitions consistently put out top tier garbage. :D

Idiot.

That's precisely my point, MS bought a studio based on what they could make, and turns out to be buggy mess of a game. And yeah Rare has made AA games - in the X360 era; since then its been Killer Instinct, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Sea of Thieves... :D
