Sea of Thieves new update requires you to redownload and install the full game

Rare has announced that Sea of Thieves will be receiving a major update that will require players to download and reinstall a full version of the game

Never heard of something like this before. 

 

Guess the actually game is finally being patched in to Sea of Thieves.

They're lowering the install size

This is also due to them changing how updating will work in the future, so it's a necessary evil.  The best thing is that this just goes to show that they have no intention of stopping supporting this title... because it actually did very well.
