I'm not going to say anything negative until more developments for it come up, it's a James Cameron movie okay, the guy knows exactly what he's doing. He made The Terminator and Terminator 2 for Christ sakes... This is Terminator 3, it completely disregards everything outside of 1 & 2 and makes them non-canon.

The plot is that after saving humanity, and preventing Skynet from coming online they realized we end up living in a patriarchal society - so the women create their own non-binary, androgynous terminator code-named: Xyr-1000 that goes back in time to Adam & Eve to ensure Adam eats the apply so women can live in Eden - but the butterfly effect ensures it wipes out all of humanity.
