That in no way breaks down percentages per platform or for an individual game. That's a broad stroke percentage which encompasses everything.

That's like trying to push the pay gap narrative without getting into the specifics of how and why it exists.

Sony has about a 55% share of the market in the UK, when you've got wildly disproportionate physical sales to that market share and an analyst stressing that one of the platforms digital shares compared to the others is much larger you should probably pay attention to that and be able to put two and two together.

They used Fifa as an example to make the point.   The same source you were using to say Digital is 80% says that metric does not apply to AAA games.

You're contradicting your own source of information which then undermines your entire point.

lol

Uh no..  You do this a lot, you say people have contradicted themselves as a scapegoat then never explain how.

What has been said which makes my statements contradicting?

it's 3/4ths for PS4, lol. Xflop is dead.

A switch version would be much more welcome. RE should go PS4 exclusive, skip xflop, and create a stripped-down portable version for switch. No need to split between 2 consoles when one of them is fucking dead.

are you dense, you are trying to dismiss the fact that the PS4 version greatly outsold the XB1 version by claiming that digital made up the difference.

When in fact for AAA games... digital only accounts for 25% of sales.  When that is pointed out to you... you then start trying to discount that fact.

You chose to believe the 80% figure but dismiss the 25% from the same source and article.

You then go on to say everything wasn't factored into the 25% figure but you conveniently left out that the 80% includes DLC, PSN subs, XBL subs, micro transactions and any digital money spent on a game.

I didn't say digital makes up the difference but with Xbox having a larger adoption of digital game purchases it's going to more accurately reflect its market share. You need to stop interpreting things and read what's being said.

PS4's lead in the UK is about the same ratio wise as it is in US, relatively speaking; small. Accepting a 74/26 split at face value without digital being accounted for with a ~45%/55% hardware disparity is retard level assessment especially when it's known that Xbox One has much larger digital adoption relative to its physical sales than the PS4 does to its.

Xbox having a larger adoption of digital sales ONLY APPLIES TO THE US.

Where are you getting that 45% to 55% percent disparity from...are you using Data from 2015? lol

PS4 almost sold twice as much as XB1 did in the UK in 2018 ALONE ..not only that.. the Switch is also now outselling Xbox1 in the UK as well this year.... so that 45/55 split is outdated info.

UK 2018

PS4 ~ 1.1m
Switch ~ 820k+
X1~ 600k

Anyways   Point is... the 74% percent of sales on PS4 for RE2 will hold up because Digital sales of AAA games in the UK only account for 25% of total sales.
