The RTX Effect

Recommended Posts

They were severely overvalued to begin with.  This isn't a surprise to anyone paying attention.  This is basically the market correcting itself.

Great thing about this is that it's going to push Nvidia to smarten their ass up.  Too bad AMD couldn't do that to Nvidia themselves through actual competition :hest:

...I'll make  a thread on that though. :geese:

Why did Nvidia price their graphic cards so damn high this time.  It's plain idiotic.
It's the same dumb tactic Intel did with their CPUs and it backfired .

Because they forced ray tracing tech into their cards and didn't release a traditional GTX line.

They didn't force it in.  They developed it and found a way to utilize their RT cores and tensor cores for their consumer products...

Nvidia would have charged what they charged regardless... Jesus you guys have no clue.   You think if Nvidia threw a thousand more CUDA cores on there and performance was that much higher that they wouldn't have???

ROFL
