Except the only major differences are swaying of foilage, the quality of the foilage does not seem pereceptible.

And the backjground appears darking, but that could be a visual effect like dust and haze moving in between the time he took his screenshots.

Its a moving scene.

And you had to ISOLATE this specific area in order to get anything perceptible. (in a moving scene).

Sweetheart.............YOU are not capable of that perceptibility while playing a video game. Don't bother wasting your time pretending that you are when playing a game on your 4K tv from a regular distance on your couch. LOL

You're trash, and blind.

Doesn't Look So Sharp

Destroyed.

The most important part is Remij has the $$$ to play around with all this shit. Major respect.

No, one of us is actually explaining things............and the other one is just losing their shit in real-time.

There's a reason why you didn't bother to compare the FULL screenshot................and you know it, too, sweetcheeks. LOL

Shut the fuck up. It's quite obvious there's a difference. No one is arguing whether or not the difference is more or less noticeable in motion or on a big ass UHD TV. DLSS looks blurrier and obscures some of the details in the native 4K image. The only way to properly do comparisons is by zooming in or comparing the image at native resolution on a monitor that can support it. This is exactly what Digital Foundry does, it's no different. If Digital Foundry came out with a video tomorrow detailing the differences between DLSS and whatever that native 4K image is using or not using and confirmed DLSS looks worse what kind of damage control would you be spewing?

All you have to do is look at EVERY oc outlet on YouTube and watch the videos.  Maybe Jerry is looking on his switch screen ?

Really?  Which ones have updated articles about the DLSS patch that just released?  Most of them are from the initial DLSS implementation.

And no shit it's going to look worse guys... the fact is... that it doesn't look SO MUCH worse like DramaticCop tries to make it sound, especially at normal viewing distances.  I laugh when he does that shit. :hest:

DLSS before the update:

DLSS after update:

DLSS off:

Just look at the images full screen, not zoomed in or anything.  The difference between pre- and post patch is huge obviously... and DLSS off looks a bit crisper... not at all worth 20fps difference..

20fps by the way... is a gain of almost the amount of fps as the entire game runs on Xbox One X... :reg:

You faggots are arguing about barely noticable differences, in motion it's probably even more irrelevant.

but 20fps increase is really noticeable.

Its these pathetic lemmings who are trying to cling onto "native 4K" of a version of Metro that's fucking running at Medium settings.

Like are they honestly proud of that?

For me, especially on PC, its always been about graphical settings being turned on as high as possible while achieving the most highest and stable framerate, and since I don't have a variable refresh monitor, that inherently means either at 30fps or 60fps.

Resolution ends up being a lower priority. But in the future, having a nVidia video card will help because DLSS can prevent from having to make that compromise.

That was pre-patch.. dumbo. :snoop:

Post patch with images supplied by yourself it's still quite visually deteriorated, sure it's an improvement over what was there before but still pretty subpar.

It honestly looks as I said, as if they took a game at Ultra and dropped it to Medium and then lowered the resolution.

Nah, I disagree.
