Don’t expect the entire Master Chief Collection to arrive all at once, though. 343 Industries plans to release each game in chronological order: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4. PC fans will be able to buy them on an individual basis as the developer works toward completing the full set.

Perfect, I can buy CE, and be done with the rest :juggle:

Halo Reach is coming first.

i thought reach was under appreciated. i liked it more than 2,3, or 4. it had the best pacing in a halo campaign imo. 3 had the most "holy shit" moments...at the expense of long stretches of boredom.

Holy.........shit.

Microsoft couldn't even competently develop the game for the Xbox/Windows Store.

So they had 343 just develop it as a stand-alone program to sell on Steam?

This actually hurts their plans for having an Xbox Game Store across multiple platforms.  Its almost as if Microsoft's bigwigs are telling Phil Spencer to just port their games like a 3rd party publisher.

This is rather surprising, even to people who are predicting doom and gloom for Xbox.

This is, straight-up, 3rd Party publishing.

Uh... it's coming to the Windows Store :|

Phil wasn't blowing smoke when he said he wanted Xbox to be where people are.  :wow2:

This is a sign that more games will come to Steam.

As I had said before... it would be REALLY smart for Steam and MS to partner with each other and combat/kill Epic Game Store.  MS games releasing on Steam would do really well for them.
