Even if the chew of something trivial from Sony's PS5 sales even if it's a few million maybe more that's a point of concern for Sony. As for MS it's actually possible a Google console can do collosal damage to the Scarlett in both the streaming and hardware market. The only good thing about all this is MS probably not going to care about the console market much and will probably embrace a software partnership with Sony and Nintendo eventually. Steel and Titanium. Apparently the lower specced one is going to get canned in favour of the more powerful one. Plus VR. So they're obviously going for a streaming future but the hardware side if it pans out will be interesting. I can easily see the brain-dead casuals, parents etc that bought an S this gen, choose the Google console with the right marketing, and pricing when they go into a store. Google knows nothing about gaming and the way they make money is with ads. why the fuck would anybody want that? Microsoft has been in the gaming business since early iterations of Windows and dos and you want them to die but you want the advertising giant to make a gaming console. They just released Halo on Steam for fucks sake. The sad part is that Google might have actual exclusives on its console not coming to PC, eventually Switch and probably PlayStation.
