On topic: I think this relates to many factors,

 

1. There's too many distractions for men and too many hurdles to get girls. Porn provides an easy replacement for sex for many, specially the ones who haven't gotten laid because they have no way to compare. Video games too or just binge watching series on Netflix.

 

2. Guys are afraid not only of rejection now but of being considered abusers or perverts by slight awkwardness and if you're not experienced, you're most definitely going to be awkward, so guys are avoiding even jumping and learning on the field. This is one of the most damaging things this western hysterics surrounding sexual relationships is doing IMO, how can you expect somehow not to be awkward if he is learning to approach women for sexual or romantic relationships? Nobody is born learned, you need to fuck up to gain experience but in the current witch hunt climate, being awkward or fucking up once can cost you greatly and your whole future. Couple this with the fact that men are still the ones who are 99% of the time approaching women and not the other way, so men are the ones who need agency and decisiveness and with that comes a responsibility of the outcome.

 

3. Tinder and the like is making women standards skyrocket, now most women choose a few of the top males and the bottom males end up with nothing and since most females get 100 times more right-swipes than males on these apps then they can easily choose.

 

4. Guys on the bottom refuse to lower their standards and keep wanting the top females. Maybe if they chose the bottom ones they would be having sex but then again they could also be playing video games instead of dealing with a land whale lol. The dating apps don't make this easy either because you first are presented with a 11/10 goddess and then you are presented with a 6/10 or 5/10. Of course you're much less likely to swipe right on the 6/10 after the 11/10.

 

5. People are overstimulated by media and get tired of sex even before engaging in it.

 

6. If guys want to get laid more they should stop with the slut shaming. I firmly believe that women love sex as much as the average guy but the fact that they are socially stigmatized for sleeping around (unlike guys in the same level) is what makes them be so picky. Be ok with women having sex and you'll have more sex.

Last thing I want to say is that this is going to get ugly. A large proportion of the male population not getting laid is going to be a disaster in the long run and it's going to create a bunch of sexually repressed and frustrated people and we've seen how well that went with the Catholic Church. Sex is a natural necessity for humans. IMO, governments should start focusing less on PC crap and start publicly funding prostitution services to prevent a crisis lol.

There's truth in both of these of course but a little too alt-right-ish for my taste. Sure the current extreme PC and SJW climate is affecting relationships but it is not the only problem. It absolutely will lead to a disaster.  If you think these incels hate women NOW, just wait until they get into their 30's, early 40's and have this belief that society OWES them pussy. Their bitterness will FERMENT, they'll hate everything from minorities taking "their women" to "lesbos" taking their women, to women who turned into men. Just everything.
