Sony officially launches name changes, it's a disaster

Recommended Posts

This is old.  We already knew this.

And I'd just look at this shit as more of a 'future looking' change.  Yes, there's some issues and caveats, but it's just unavoidable with how their system was implemented in the beginning.  The most important thing is that going forward with new accounts they'll be able to support it fully.

It was a beta, not a preview. You can try to spin your faggotry with someone else thank you very much.

Change Online ID Restrictions During Preview:

The changes during the preview will adhere to the following structure:
• First change is free for all users.
• Second change will be charged at €9.99 / £7.99 (PlayStation®Plus subscribers receive a 50% discount).
• If your previous Online ID violates any of the current Terms of Service, you will not be able to revert back to your previous Online ID.
• You can revert to your previous Online ID once per account during the preview period.
• Sub-Accounts cannot utilise the Change Online ID feature.
• After you change your Online ID, it may take a few hours for some services and applications to reflect the new ID.

If for any reason you have issues after changing your Online ID you can revert back to your previous ID at no charge. However:
• you may only do this once during the preview period;
• changing back to your previous Online ID may not fix all issues (you may not recover all or any lost content, progress and functionality; and
• if you want to change back, do so as soon as possible because changing back to your previous Online ID may affect content, game progress and functionality associated with your new Online ID.

That means a preview of a coming feature, not that you're previewing a release state feature. It was still a beta and advertised as such and beta software/implementation should not be indicative of public release, ever.

Are you so far up your own ass that you're trying to pass off that this was a preview of RC lol? They dropped the ball, their beta made for no improvements and the way they went about this is pure unadulterated garbage. This should have remained shelved until they got it right.

DynamiteCop is such a dumbass :rofls:

Why? Because mad can't understand simple concepts?

It was a beta for preview members of an at the time beta feature, it just released in public form nearly 6 months later and is just as fucked up as it was then.

He's implying it was a preview of what was the public release, that's not at all the case which is why it was clearly referred to as a beta by Sony. Calling me a dumbass doesn't make me one, the ability to rationalize that I am would; but we both know that's not going to happen.

You're the only moron who is acting like this is new news. Everyone else already knew that those issues announced for the Preview Program are the same issues that will be included in the full roll out to the public. They announced everything back then, including pricing/ They rolled it out to Preview members first then to everyone. Everyone else here has known this for months, that's why you're the dumbass.
